Poly Custom Tools

Providers become capabilities, then tools.

The documented factory path is Provider asset, Capability asset, Deed wrapper, Tool catalog. That keeps vendor work explicit, billable, and reviewable.

Platform providers

Platform-approved providers can expose capabilities through reviewed manifests, pricing metadata, tests, and registered Deed tools.

BYOK is gated power-user territory.

Bring-your-own-key providers use a user or entity vault flow and are not promoted to shared platform tooling without review.

Poly sees registered tools.

Current Poly tools are Deed-backed registrations with valid tool manifests, not arbitrary provider assets.

Cost and provenance stay attached.

User-billable operations flow through the provider factory path so the platform can record cost and attribution.
