Capsules are resource-backed containers marked as widget sections, so the same object can travel across surfaces.

Share the asset, not a screenshot of the asset.
A Capsule is the portable envelope for a section of Adhoc: it can appear in panes, chat, feed, shared spaces, embeds, and public pages when visibility allows it.
Snapshot and provenance
Publishing freezes a snapshot to R2 and hashes it. Older snapshots remain available instead of being silently rewritten.
Privacy follows bindings
Placement does not grant new access by itself. Capsule visibility follows the union of the underlying resource bindings.
User controls sharing
Poly may create or promote widgets, but sharing, publishing, visibility, and settings stay user-initiated.
